This is a very early attempt at making an AE focused visual novel. Mainly driven by the severe lack of AE games, I have decided to create my own. I want to see the initial reception/interest for this short demo/prologue before diving deeper into it's full creation. Any critique would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about others but I think it might be a good idea to not make the girls too big, too fast. It may be in you favor to make it take a little time after the initial growth. Maybe do some character development or events in between to get people acquainted with them.

Already starting out with a strong opener for this game and I can see a rivalry brewing already lol. There's a lot you can do with this setting and premise and I hope to see more of in the future, well done! ^^
As a fellow AE focused game dev, I am really impressed by what I am seeing here. I could urge you to continue with your development of this game as I start to revitalize my game for more AE primary content to be released. This has a lot of potential! :)
AE aside, the prologue is quite engaging. From my first impression with the dining room scene with Riley, I'd like to think that Feederism and belly expansion isn't out the window with this novel. Feeder/feedee content could be optional, enhanced initiations to expansion scenes, possibly being a full dynamic with future characters, like one desperate to make the team or obsessed with gains and PRs. Or better yet, a bitter rivalry between two competitive girls.
Nice beginning and good looking characters so good luck on working on it.
I enjoyed the demo, and I hope you continue development. Glad to see more AE representation. I don't know what notes to give you with how little there is and without knowing the scale or scope of the game, so take the following as mere suggestions.
If you want to do progressive expansion, I would suggest cutting the initial growth in half or even a third to give the player more to look forward to. You said you wanted to make them twice their on screen size, so this would give 4-6 stages for each character.
An unlockable gallery to see each girl's before and after is always nice to see in these types of games.
Mini games related to each girl's sport/excercise? The formula is meant to help athletes recover, so maybe this would be a good excuse for them to take it. Maybe there's some hesitancy for some girls to take the formula, so getting up to a certain score would make them exhausted enough to give your formula a try.
Alternatively, you could just choose to watch each girl do their exercises, and that's when the player has the option to give them the formula.
character archetype: I've always been a fan of confident characters who hype themselves up far above what they're capable of. Not necessarily brats, but people who believe they are the kings/queens of their own world despite how much real life constantly proves them wrong. I'm thinking for this story, a trash talking amateur/backyard mma fighter that is on a 0-7 losing streak and needs your help to train.
I hope you find these helpful. Don't overwhelm yourself. Try to pace yourself to keep your energy and interest up. You've done good with the demo.

As far as underrepresented character types go, I'd like to suggest a klutzy girl. It would fit well with the ecchi tone you seem to be going for, and you wouldn't have to overdo it they'd infrequently be on screen. You could even do something like making them some sort of expert like a gymnast or chef (or perhaps a fellow chemist?), but their new booty keeps putting them in situations that make them look amateurish in front of the MC.
I hope this project gets the attention it deserves. Us AE enjoyers are woefully underrepresented in expansion content, and you're doing good work to correct that!
An excellent start on your adventure into gamedev! I got into the world of "growing assets" via boobs, but you can't turn down a finely sculpted rump. Aside from my desire to have a version either playable on Mac or in browser ( I can play via emulator but it's a little jank), I can tell this game has the legs to stand on and the passion to actually go somewhere. I will mention, there's exactly one other game I can think of that's decidedly AE focused, being Yamanuski. Tally Ho!
Dev here for some extra info
Firstly, I am quite surprised by the amount of people who have taken an interest in the game. My main motivation being that, if I am not mistaken, there are no ass expansion games. Any game that has AE in it, from what I have seen, has it as secondary to the main fetish (breast expansion, weight gain, etc.). Because of this lack of content I wasn't sure if there would be any interest in such a game. This is partly why I "released" this with so little content.
Why is it so short?
I wasn't sure if there would be any interest in the game, so I wanted to see if this type of game would be viable. I also have very little experience in both the game engine and the visual program. Having started using the programs to build the game this weekend. In addition, I wanted some feedback to help me guide the direction of the game and I assumed the earlier I could get feedback the better. I believe in the phrase "make it exist first, then make it good later. Think of the game as a beginner artist's rough sketch. Seeing the main critique being about how short it currently is a good sign imo. It means the people want more!
What content will the game have?
Since it is very early in development I cannot make any promises, but will say what I would like to include. Fetish wise, I would like to keep it very ass expansion focused. I would like to add pregnancy eventually, but as an optional endgame scene. I am still 50/50 on adding any breast expansion. If I ever do, it would be a very small part of the game and would be left optional as well. In terms of sexual content there will be plenty of groping for sure. I would also like to add sex scenes as well, but after a bit of time, not much of instant "Who ordered the pizza with extra sausage?" sex. Also anal is a no for me.
What about the characters?
I am still not sure on the number of characters yet (early in dev/concept), I would like at least 6. So we are halfway there with three. Three? I plan on having the professor you very briefly see be a character you can interact with and grow. Riley and Izumi will be the primary girls for now, with any additional characters having less of a presence. I would like to have a diverse cast so if anyone has a character archetype they feel is underrated and underrepresented, post it in the comments! This game is about the sidelined becoming the star.
Harem/Poly?
Most likely not. But I wouldn't entirely rule it out. All characters will be expandable regardless of any romantic pursuit. I might go with harem if it ends up easier to write and code. It is more of a personal preference towards monogamy, rather than being entirely against it.
How big will the ass be?
The title screen size will likely be the size characters will spend a majority of the games as. The max size will be about twice the size of the menu image. Unfortunately this will not be to everyone's tastes, but I hope that if the later sizes are to much for some that they can still find some enjoyment out of the earlier sizes.
Development timeline?
No definitive timeline currently. I am still learning the programs so the development speed will be a bit slow. My hope is to release about an hour of content every month if I can. Though I will mostly go at my own pace. With the game being rough around the edges currently, future development time will likely go into improving/expanding scenes and the improvement of visuals. I do not have a set goal for the game length, though I do no expect it to be a very long game.
Current content is not good?
If the current content is seen as not good, I hope to remedy that. Even if you like what there currently is, please let me know of any improvements that I could make. I would like to make something that I could be proud of and making something good involves knowing what makes something bad. Right now I feel my weakest link is writing, so criticism on that would be greatly appreciated.
Paywall?
Never. I want as many people to have access to the game as possible. I also want the lower pressure/responsibility of not letting people down on missed deadlines, promises, and etc. Though I might create a patreon solely as a tip jar if there is some demand.

Hi DEV, sincerely and personally I prefer that in the end the MC becomes a magnate and has a million-dollar patent with his discovery, which leads him to have a harem of big-ass girls. 11/10, of different shapes, races, hair color and nationalities, with the latter opening up a range of possibilities to take to the game to see which or what type of girl will be added to this, Therefore, it creates expectations and also due to your genetics and different lifestyles will affect the enlargement treatment...
I don't intend to impose, it's just an idea, I hope in one way or another the MC has a Harem and if it's a multinational one, all the better.
